The Be Captivating Dress/Top Pattern from Ellie and Mac

One of my favourite dresses from Ellie and Mac is the Be Captivating Dress/Top, the fits is so good it can be worn in the office or on a night out. I also added a flounce/ruffle to the bottom of one of them to give it a different look.

The Kristen Dress from Designer Stitch

It's complete!

What do you think of my new Kristen dress? First time making it and won't be my last. I'm taking part in a sewing bee challenge, this week is a Party dress theme so I made the Kristen dress with a lace overlay and so happy with how it turned out. Best part it has pockets. It's the perfect party dress with my added petticoat skirt under.

Black & White Oversized Tee from Ellie and Mac

I love the Oversized tee and wanted to mix-it up a little while adding a half pipe heat transfer design on! I used a soft black and white jersey to create this Ying Yang look. I love how it turned out, I'm always being told I wear my heart on my sleeve so add a little heart design, so need this tee is a bit of me!

The Argentina's Asymmetric Skirt & Kenya's Wrap Crop Top by CKC Patterns

It's Monday that means one thing new pattern releases, today we have two new releases from CKC patterns. The lovely Argentina's asymmetric skirt and Kenya's Wrap crop top. Both work really well together or on there own. Both simply patterns but a great out come ready for the warmer weather. I've used a stretch crepe for my skirt and a viscous jersey for my top. Top can be styled in many different ways using the straps.

The Geometric Colour-Block Raglan Pattern from Ellie and Mac

I made the the new Geometric Colour-Block Raglan Pattern by Ellie and Mac. This is the curvy fit and it also comes in a straight fit. I love mixing colours together and it's also a great way to use up those small bits of fabric. I used this lovely viscose jersey although I feel like I should be in Scooby Doo with my green top!

The Ariana Dress from Designer Stitch Patterns

I almost forgot to share my Ariana Dress that I made as a two piece from Designer Stitch, so now I can mix it up and wear the top with trousers. I love being able to wear a pattern in more than 1 way. All I did was line the waistband and turn the skirt waist over and secured with a few stitches as I used scuba the stretch and recovery is great and these sleeves are just amazing!

Frida Kahlo Theme Oversized Tee from Ellie and Mac

I love taking part in a challenge, even if I can't enter! Doing a weekly Sewing Bee Challenge and this week was a Frida Kahlo look. So using these fabulous cotton linen look fabric I created this outfit. I used the Oversized Tee from Ellie and Mac, added the iconic square neckline and the sleeves a little bigger to add gathering at the shoulder.

The skirt is self-drafted and the amazing authentic Mexican design floral trim was handwoven on an inkle loom by my partner, which I then attached to my top. I really love how it turned out, what do you think?

The Afterglow Leggings from Rad Patterns

Today I wanted to share the new release of the Afterglow leggings from Rad Patterns! These leggings come in seven different lengths, they offer an optional crotch gusset and do not have side seams on the leg which I love. Also there are options for a non-pregnancy waist that hits at the natural waist, a mid-belly pregnancy option, and a full-belly pregnancy option.

I've made the shorty's, mid-thigh and Bermuda length paired with the Riley Crossover Bra, made in cotton Lycra and ITY fabric.

The Corinne Pattern from Made For Mermaids

I wanted to share with you the amazing new Corinne Pattern by Made For Mermaids, they also do a maternity add on. Corinne has so many different option I had to to a few lol. It comes in a crop, top length and bodysuit with thong or briefs, different sleeves length and a hi or low front cut and finally you can make a crew neck or a mock turtleneck. I tried a few different fabrics and found they all worked well from ribbed to cotton Lycra.

The Kids A-Line Skirt from Ellie and Mac

Don't you love when an idea comes to life? As soon as I got this needlecord fabric I just knew what I was going to make. Using the Kids A-Line Skirt from Ellie and Mac with a few adjustments, plus the Oversized tee and to mix it up I also made a Cressida corset from Made For Mermaids.

The Bonnaroo Top from George & Ginger Patterns

This cute Bonnaroo Top is perfect for summer! Currently pattern of the month (POTM) over at George & Ginger Patterns. It's quick to make and the tie really give it that extra cuteness! I cut mine at the crop length teen and love how it turned out, we all need a cute summer top in are wardrobe.
