The Elevated Blazer Jacket by Ellie and Mac Patterns

I finally added the finishing touches to my blue tartan blazer, made with this gorgeous fabric from ABC Fabric, and I absolutely love how it turned out! The rich colors and crisp texture of the woven material give it such a polished yet versatile look.

For the construction, I used the Elevated Blazer pattern from Ellie & Mac, which is technically designed for knit fabrics, but I followed their helpful blog tutorial on adapting the pattern for wovens. I sized up slightly, adjusted the seam allowances, and added some strategic topstitching to ensure a clean finish. The fit is structured but comfortable, and I can already tell it’s going to be a staple in my wardrobe. It’s so easy to dress up or down. I’ve worn it with everything from tailored shorts and a cami for a casual brunch to dark jeans and heeled boots for a night out. I’m already planning my next version in a neutral linen for summer!

The Premier Pencil Skirt & Lucy Swing Top Pattern from Ellie and Mac

If your looking for a skirt to wear to work or for a picnic or even a night out, this is the pattern for you.

The amazing new Premier Pencil Skirt pattern is here from Ellie & Mac. It also pairs so well with other patterns. Here I've made the knee length with back vent in a ponte knit paired with the Classic Camisole Top and the Elevated Blazer makes a great work look. Then you have the calf length with side splits which I used a rib knit and pair with the Lucy Swing top.
