The Summer Swimsuit By Annie Et Ses Couture

Summer has arrived, and that means new swimwear! I chose the Summer swimsuit from Annie Et Ses Coutures, a French company with English instruction. I fell in love with this stunning purple and forest green fabric from ABC Fabric. I wanted to showcase both colours, and this pattern was the perfect choice! Summer comes in both a one-piece and a two-piece option, with the two-piece featuring adorable ruched sides on the bottoms and with a cross over front on the top. If you haven’t checked out this pattern yet, you definitely should!

A super quick sew to make a Victoria top/dress with a snuggly neck which is perfect for cold weather coming. It's great that it comes with English instruction's. I made the top length in the soft stripe ponte from ABC Fabric.

Hacking The Amsterdam Top by Annie et ses Coutures

My weekends project turned out so cute!

I used our new green check seersucker to create a summer top that can be paired with leggings, jeans, shorts—you name it. Using the Amsterdam pattern from Annie et ses Couture, I modified the bodice by cutting it to an empire waist length. Then, I measured the waist of the bodice and doubled it to create the bottom half, adding plenty of gathers. You can choose your desired length, but I added 40cm to mine. And voilà, a cute tie-up top perfect for summer!
