The Sadie Bubble Skirt by Ellie and Mac

The amazing new Sadie Bubble Hem skirt is here from Ellie & Mac patterns. Sadie comes in 3 different lengths mini, knee and ankle length, you also have the option to add pockets! I've used this Pink Spot marocain crepe from ABC Fabric and lined the skirt with the same. I love how the bubble hem is created with a rounded hemline and the lining being shorter creates this beautiful bubble look. I've paired mine with the Nyeca top plus I made a colour block shacket. Love how the whole look turned out.

The Anais Dress by Designer Stitch Patterns

I’ve just finished sewing up the brand-new Anais pattern from Designer Stitch, for my version, I went with the two-piece option, a flared skirt paired with a matching peplum-style top with elbow-length sleeves. I love that I can wear them together for a co-ordinated look, or style them separately with other pieces in my wardrobe. Versatility is always a win in my book!

 
I chose a Red/Black Spot Cotton Jersey from ABC Fabric, which I thought was the perfect match for this pattern. The fabric is soft, comfy, and has just the right amount of stretch to make this outfit as practical as it is stylish. Plus, those spots are just too cute to resist!

If you’re planning to make the Anais yourself, my biggest tip is to make a toile first. It really helps if you need to make adjustments before cutting into your main fabric. And don’t skip the measurement instructions, they’re there for a reason, and they made a big difference to my final fit.

Because I’m on the shorter side, I did a couple of tweaks to get the fit just right. These small changes made the proportions much better for my height:

• Shortened the bodice by ½ inch
• Took 2 inches off the shortest skirt length

I haven’t worn my Anais out just yet, but I’ve got a lunch planned for next week (🍷😉) and this is definitely going to be my outfit of choice. I’m already predicting a few compliments when I step out in it! This pattern has so many options, and I’m already planning my next version – this time a dress. I think it’ll be perfect for autumn layered with tights and boots.

I just love how this set came together! Meet the new Auren tie top and Kamali skirt from made for mermaids. The Sunnyvale By Styla Patterns

Summer is coming and I'm so excited! In time for your summer makes meet Sunnyvale by Styla Patterns. Sunnyvale is a two tired skirt, with a mini or mid thigh length and guess what it has built in shorts, so you can spin, walk stairs and your covered. Grab your shirring elastic as it has a shirred waistband which is such a cute look. I used this beautiful Peach viscose from ABC Fabric, sews up really nicely, its light weight perfect for the warmer weather. I paired mine with the Asbury bodysuit also a Styla Pattern.

The Savona Skirt by Styla Patterns

Today I'm here to share with you all my Savona skirt from Styla Patterns, which I love how it turned out. I made the above the knee length but as I'm only 5 foot I did shorten the skirt a little. I went for a denim look pairing with Glastonbury top using a denim, they both pair well together and had to match my shoes.

The Rapt Skirt By George & Ginger

Have you checked out George & Gingers $5 TikTok patterns, well I did and grabbed a few. To start with I went for the Rapt Skirt with I love how it turned out this the red tartan poly viscose from ABC Fabric got a great drape and sewed up really nicely. I find patterns like this super quick to make and very stylish.

Theresa Tiered Skirt By Ellie & Mac

Summer has arrived just in time for the new Theresa tiered skirt from Ellie & Mac. Comes with 3 length options, mid thigh, above knee and below knee with an underskirt option. You can have an elastic exposed waistband or fabric waistband. I love all the option and finally you can make your skirt with exposed tiered seams or regular.

This pattern is for woven fabric, I had the last of this beautiful crepe from ABCFabric in my stash and just had to use it. I made the mid tight length with exposed seams and fabric waistband. What I also love about Ellie & Mac they have a pattern to pair with, I used the Tiffany tank top to go with my skirt.

The Presley Pleated Skirt by Made for Mermaids

Introducing the new Presley pleated skirt designed for knit fabrics!

Made for Mermaids' latest release, Presley, is also available as a kids' pattern. With three lengths, various waistband options, and the choice to add shorts, it's a versatile piece. I've long desired a knitted skirt like this, as most stores offer woven versions. For my version, I crafted the micro mini with shorts and a tall waistband using Rust-colored ponte fabric from ABC Fabric. It's super cute, and I feel ready to hit the tennis court! 🎾👗

The Belle Holiday Skirt from Made For Mermaids

I'm not one that likes to blend in a crowd, I'm the one that likes to stand out! So when I got this neon plisse from ABC Fabric and it was perfect for the Belle Holiday Skirt. I made the midi length and covered my waistband elastic in the same fabric to match. I'm in love with this skirt super quick to make!

Hack: The Premier Pencil Skirt by Ellie and Mac

Following Diana's hack from Ellie & Mac YouTube channel, making the Premier Pencil Skirt stretch knit pattern in a non-stretch woven fabric. Sizing up, adding a zipper and cutting the back on the-fold without the vent. I made this simple and elegant skirt using a speckled check chenille from ABC Fabric. I made this lovely Juliette skirt by Annie et ses coutures, it's from stretch woven and comes in 2 lengths and these cute front pockets. It's the perfect skirt to dress up or go for a more casual look. I had this stretch denim for ages and was perfect for this pattern.
