Blue Linen Blend Tanner Dress from Petite Stitchery

So I created another Tanner Dress, a sewing pattern by Petite Stitchery. Made in this beautiful blue linen blend fabric from Molly's of Kensington. Its a knit pattern but because the fit is oversized I was able to get away with using this woven linen, which worked really well. The pattern is easy to put together, I love the gathers in this pattern that makes this dress feel really flowy.

Staycation Dress & Oversize Tee Pattern Mix from Ellie and Mac

I've saved this dress for so long, I needed some inspiration to make it. Ellie & Mac always come up great, by mixing the Oversized Tee and the Staycation Dress my outfit came to life.

I hacked the Oversized Tee into a v-neck, so the dress was button up. I went up a size to count for the button seam allowance and went a few sizes up on the tiered skirt from the Staycation pattern too. I left the sleeves off but added length to the drop-sleeve and added to cute pockets on the front. These patterns are really fun and easy to mix up. I used this lovely cream linen fabric which I think worked really well.

The Siena Skirt from Made For Mermaids

I know summers isn't here yet, but I couldn't wait to share with you all this amazing new pattern from Made For Mermaids. There are loads of different options the mini, knee, and both high-low lengths have two tiers. The midi-length has three tiers and the maxi length has four tiers. Choose to sew with the tier seams enclosed or an exposed, raw edge on the tier.

What more can you ask for? Its a woven pattern so I've used a linen, georgette and crepe.
