I made the crop length with long dramatic sleeves, paired with some Feel Pretty Pants, using the Ellie & Mac blog hack to add a shirred waistband that ties it all together beautifully with my new Shantelle in this beautiful poly viscose from ABC Fabric.

The Gisella Crop Shirt By Ellie & Mac

I'm absolutely in love with my second Gisella Crop Shirt from Ellie & Mac Patterns! This time I went for a different vibe than my oversized puff sleeve version. I chose the crop length with short sleeves, a collar, and a collar stand for a fresh, clean look.

As soon as I saw this pink marble viscose from @abcfabric, I knew it needed to become something cute and here you go.

The Gisella Oversized Puff Sleeve Shirt & Dress

Meet the beautiful new Gisella Oversized puff sleeve shirt and dress pattern from Ellie and Mac patterns.

There are so many amazing option for this pattern from short sleeve crop length shirt to elbow sleeves regular length shirt, then oversized puff sleeves with maxi and above the knee length dress. Plus you can have long sleeves, high hip and hip length peplum top and finally you have the option of collar and stand or just stand. I'm In love with this pattern I used this lovely navy spot moracain crepe from ABC Fabric to make the high hip peplum length with the oversized sleeves and just collar stand with no collar and belt which I have added chain loops. Really cool button up front and the option of a belt tie.

The Leonie Woven Wrap Dress by Ellie and Mac

Meet the new Leonie wrap top & dress from Ellie and Mac patterns.

Leonie is a true wrap top that comes in different lengths from top with ruffle or top hemmed length to dress mid thigh hemmed to dress above knee with ruffle. You also have the option of sleeves from Short or long/elbow puff sleeve with cuff and long sleeve with cuff but can also add elastic for a tighter look. Get your woven fabrics at the ready, I would recommend something not too structured needs to have a bit of a flow to it. I used this beautiful flat double gauze from ABC Fabric to create my hemmed top length with short puff sleeves which I'm in love with. What style will you be making first?

The Elevated Blazer Jacket by Ellie and Mac Patterns

I finally added the finishing touches to my blue tartan blazer, made with this gorgeous fabric from ABC Fabric, and I absolutely love how it turned out! The rich colors and crisp texture of the woven material give it such a polished yet versatile look.

For the construction, I used the Elevated Blazer pattern from Ellie & Mac, which is technically designed for knit fabrics, but I followed their helpful blog tutorial on adapting the pattern for wovens. I sized up slightly, adjusted the seam allowances, and added some strategic topstitching to ensure a clean finish. The fit is structured but comfortable, and I can already tell it’s going to be a staple in my wardrobe. It’s so easy to dress up or down. I’ve worn it with everything from tailored shorts and a cami for a casual brunch to dark jeans and heeled boots for a night out. I’m already planning my next version in a neutral linen for summer!

I recently sewn up the new Felicity top from Ellie and Mac, this pattern is perfect for your knit fabrics, it features multiple options including puff or bishop sleeves, Crew or Scoop neckline, its a quick sew and is very fashionable, available in teen-adult sizes.

I made the long bishop sleeve option with a crew neckline in a fluffy green corded knit. Also I couldn't resist making the elbow puff sleeve with a low-scoop neckline in a deep green Valentino crepe, fabrics from ABC Fabric.

The wait is over meet Brandy Balloon sleeve cup sizes dolman top by Ellie and Mac. Brandy comes with a straight or curved hem, 3 different sleeve options from short, long balloon sleeves with elastic hem or long balloon sleeves with cuffs just like what I've made here. You can have a neck facing or binding, Brandy is made for woven fabrics lightweight and flowy works best. Here is mine in this beautiful viscose from @abcfabric. I made the curved hem with neck facing and cuffed balloon sleeves, and short sleeves with straight hem. Love the fit and style of this pattern, I can see many more being made.

So excited I had a visit from my niece Evie, secretly I made the 'I Love the 90s Dress Pattern' by Ellie and Mac for us both so we can be matching on our trip to London Zoo! With a curved baby doll style front bodice, gathered skirt, side seam pockets, scoop neckline and optional short/long sleeves. Created in a classic lightweight leopard print jersey, a perfect pairing for this summer weather.
