The Heartleaf Sweater by Boo and Lu Patterns

Welcome to the new Heartleaf sweater from Boo and Lu patterns! Heartleaf is an oversized batwing pullover that comes with lots of options, from a simple bodice to a colour block bodice with the option of a hood or neckband. It features an elastic casing at the wrist and hem. I loved the colour block style, so I went for a blue and coral ponte from ABC Fabrics to create this look. If you buy a Heartleaf bundle (baby, child, child/adult, or baby/adult) you can get the Sugar pattern for free! Just add the bundle and Sugar into your cart.

The Trefoil Hoodie Dress by George and Ginger

To kick off the week, I’m excited to share the fabulous new Trefoil hoodie dress by George + Ginger. This versatile pattern offers various lengths, skirt options, and sleeve variations. Plus, you can even add adorable ears to the hood! The icing on the cake? When you purchase the pattern, you get the bag for free. For my version, I combined a navy jersey loopback fabric for the ruched skirt and cropped sleeves, complete with those cool ears. Additionally, I used check scuba and ponte fabrics for the plain skirt with pleated sleeves, all sourced from ABC Fabric.

As a finishing touch, I crafted a cotton bag and added an adorable free cut file. It perfectly complements the Trefoil hoodie dress ensemble. 🌟👜

The Whitney Pattern from Sonia Estep Designs

Have you seen the new Whitney pattern from Sonia Estep Designs?

Whitney is a super cool top that has loads of options from, bishop sleeves, to straight sleeves, hood, curved and straight hem. I used the curved hem with bishop sleeve and hood, and went for a tie-up option instead of buttons and I really love how it turned out. I used this awesome green camo Lycra to create this look.

The Kids Dutchie Jacket from Ellie and Mac

I'm so happy the new Kids Dutchie Jacket from Ellie & Mac goes up to Big Kid (18) as it fits me! As soon as I saw this jacket I knew it would look cool. I made the size (16) with no adjustments and short sleeves as we are just coming into summer I wanted to get some wear out of it.

Made in this super cool woven fabric I got a while back and wasn't sure what to make till now, I used a ribbed fabric for sleeves, hood and waistband with just one front big pocket and two chest pockets with the fold over collar and hood.
