Have you seen the new Sydney dress from Designer Stitch patterns. Sydney is perfect for your flowy woven fabrics, I used this beautiful viscose from www.abcfabric.co.uk to create my dress. I used the shorten length but also comes in a longer length as well, short sleeves and pockets. You do have the option to make longer sleeves as well. Has a button up bodice to easy to get on. I love how this turned out, and thinking with some tights and boots will make a great winter dress as well.

Design Details:
Sydney features a beautifully drafted two‑piece shirt collar crisp, clean, and perfect for showcasing your favourite cottons, linens, or yarn‑dyed stripes.
The front shoulder princess panels create gentle shaping through the bodice, while the separate button wrap adds a tailored finish and makes construction approachable for confident beginners and seasoned sewists alike. A back yoke anchors the shirt‑style design, offering structure and a smooth fit across the shoulders.
Below the bodice, Sydney flows into a two‑layer gathered tiered skirt, creating soft movement and a flattering drape whether you choose the 60cm or 80cm length.

It's perfect for your flowy woven fabrics, comes in 3 different length top, midi and maxi, High/low empire waist inspired by baby‑doll silhouettes and different sleeve options from flutter to long with cuffs. Has a tie at the back bodice with a Scooped back. I made the top length with flutter sleeves in this beautiful Tan Leopard viscose from ABC Fabric. The Kora Dress by Designer Stitch

Here's my new Kora dress from Designer Stitch, it has an amazing shape to this dress. Kora comes in two lengths, beautiful contoured waistband. I love the v neck with front buttons for opening, but as you also have an invisible side seam zip you don't really need to use the buttons.

I made the short sleeve with ties that ruch the sleeve, but you can also made long sleeves with an elastic cufflet. I used this beautiful polyviscose as you need a nice drape in your fabric for this pattern. It's the perfect dress for a lunch date or even a night out.

The Paris Dress By Designer Stitch Patterns

Just in time for all the party celebrations, say hello to the fabulous new Paris Dress from Designer Stitch Patterns!

Paris is made for woven fabrics, and I whipped mine up in a dreamy flocked polycotton and a silky satin. I couldn’t choose a favourite length, so… I made both! One at 60 cm and one at 75 cm because why not?

And the best part? You can add a matching self-fabric belt and the cutest little shoulder-tie accents.
I’m officially party-ready in my brand-new Paris dresses, and I’m obsessed!

The Rylie Shirt By Designer Stitch Patterns

As autumn is here I made the perfect shirt it's called Rylie from Designer Stitch patterns. I used this beautiful viscose from ABC Fabric which worked so well for the Rylie. There are many options to this pattern from a drawstring front, to no drawstring and different sleeve options. I made the front drawstring with the standard placket cuff. I love that it has lots of features, the side splits with the drawstring front is my fav.

The Anais Dress by Designer Stitch Patterns

I’ve just finished sewing up the brand-new Anais pattern from Designer Stitch, for my version, I went with the two-piece option, a flared skirt paired with a matching peplum-style top with elbow-length sleeves. I love that I can wear them together for a co-ordinated look, or style them separately with other pieces in my wardrobe. Versatility is always a win in my book!

 
I chose a Red/Black Spot Cotton Jersey from ABC Fabric, which I thought was the perfect match for this pattern. The fabric is soft, comfy, and has just the right amount of stretch to make this outfit as practical as it is stylish. Plus, those spots are just too cute to resist!

If you’re planning to make the Anais yourself, my biggest tip is to make a toile first. It really helps if you need to make adjustments before cutting into your main fabric. And don’t skip the measurement instructions, they’re there for a reason, and they made a big difference to my final fit.

Because I’m on the shorter side, I did a couple of tweaks to get the fit just right. These small changes made the proportions much better for my height:

• Shortened the bodice by ½ inch
• Took 2 inches off the shortest skirt length

I haven’t worn my Anais out just yet, but I’ve got a lunch planned for next week (🍷😉) and this is definitely going to be my outfit of choice. I’m already predicting a few compliments when I step out in it! This pattern has so many options, and I’m already planning my next version – this time a dress. I think it’ll be perfect for autumn layered with tights and boots.

I don’t make jeans often because I could never get the fit just right, until now. Introducing the new Peyton Pants from Designer Stitch. These jeans are truly bootylicious!
