The Darling Dress Pattern by Patterns for Pirates

I've just finished the Darling Dress by Patterns for Pirates, featuring short gathered puff sleeves and a sweetheart neckline bodice with a gathered bust. For the skirt, I created a below-the-knee length panelled design with a high slit, made in an ultra-soft red and white polka dot cotton lycra from ABC Fabric. This pattern is drafted for soft stretch knit fabric and comes with over 10 different options!

The Dahle Daydream Dress by Patterns for Pirates

The Dahle Daydream Dress is a delightful creation that captures the essence of both timeless elegance and modern flair. Its design is a nod to the past with the milkmaid bodice, yet it embraces the present with its adaptable lengths and sleeves. I created the top version in a soft blue ribbed knit jersey from ABC Fabric, with short sleeves and an elasticated cuff.

Whether it's the whimsy of flutter sleeves or the drama of bishop sleeves, this dress offers a style for every mood and occasion. The choice of fabric plays a crucial role in the dress's drape and fit, ensuring that each seamstress can personalize the garment to their liking. Truly, the Dahle Daydream Dress is a pattern that celebrates the joy of sewing and personal expression.

The Friendly City Sweater by Patterns For Pirates

Have you checked out the new Friendly City Sweater from Pattern for Pirates. It comes in 3 lengths and 3 different necklines. I had to try a few so here they are, I've made the crop in a loose knit, top in a rib knit and tried it out in scuba too which gave me a great turtleneck! You can also get the kids as a bundle then you can match.

The Sweetheart Dress by Patterns for Pirates

My first Print Your Own (PYO) order arrived just before Christmas from Kids Print Fabrics and had my amazing colourway from Designed in Prayer. I had heard about PYO so much and just had to give it a try, so glad I did, the fabric quality is amazing and the colours OMG!

I used the Sweetheart Dress from Patterns For Pirates to create this look, and added my own underskirt to show-off the print.

The Infinity Outfit from Patterns For Pirates

I forgot to share my shorts Infinity outfit, It's the perfect summer pattern!

I've always wanted one but never found one that fitted me right until now! This pattern comes with different options which is great, bodysuit, short/trousers and a dress what more can you ask for. I used this lightweight Liverpool crepe which I found worked well for the shorts. Best part is you can style the ties in so many different ways.

Here are a few plus I added the tube top which comes with the pattern in some of the styles.

I've always wanted an Infinity Outfit as I love that it can be styled in so many different ways with the ties!

I was lucky enough to take part in testing this amazing pattern from Pattern for pirates (P4P). It comes as a bodysuit, shorts, trousers and a dress in different lengths.

The lovely Hazel threw this lovely teal ITY fabric at me the other week and said "I'm sure you can make something with it." And she was totally right, I made a whole garment.

It was perfect for this bodysuit!
