The Racerback Wrap Swimsuit from Ellie and Mac

It's finally here, the amazing Racerback Wrap Swimsuit from Ellie & Mac. The swimsuit comes with many options, bikini/swimsuit, different rises and fun options to colour block. Projector files are my best friends right now, so much quicker. I made the swimsuit in this swim Lycra, the fit is fantastic and comes with a built-in shelf-bra so your all safe. It has ruching at one side that sets this whole swimsuit off and of course its a racerback style.

The Cassidy Skirt Pattern from Sonia Estep Designs

Summer is upon us, and so is Cassidy from Sonia Estep Designs. The Cassidy skirt comes in three lengths, curved hem maxi, min skirt and maxi skirt. It works great with lightweight fabrics, I've paired mine with the Brooklyn top but I shorten it by five inches and didn't add the neckband or facing. I just made a rolled hem all the way around using a lightweight woven jersey.

The Everywhere Dress from Ellie & Mac

I finally did it, after seeing Diana Austin's amazing white Everywhere Dress with a lace overlay over at Ellie & Mac, I just knew I needed one in my life! I used a light blue viscose with blue lace for the overlay, no hemming needed as the lace had a scalloped edge. I made the straight front-bodice with short sleeves. I'm in love with how it turned out, I might try other colours too, its perfect for a summer dress!

The Garden Party Dress from Rad Patterns

It's here the amazing new Garden Party pattern from Rad Patterns. It comes with four lengths and three different sleeve lengths. The bodice is a fitted raglan, while the sleeves are a flutter style, it has a fitted waistband with an A-line skirt. Here is the maxi length with short sleeves top length with elbow sleeves, mid-thigh dress with cap sleeves using a soft jersey, viscose and rib

The Oversized Tee Pattern from Ellie and Mac

The Oversized Tee one of my all time favourite patterns, which comes with loads of different options. This is the boatneck with neckband, shirt length, the only changes where shortening for my height. I love that you can wear if off-shoulder or not! I've used this distressed jersey with a mesh lining.

The Cusco's Culottes from CKC Patterns

Have you got your Cusco's Culottes from CKC Patterns yet? I just had to make another pair, there super quick to make and feel great on! They flow so nicely in the wind as I used a scuba crepe which worked really well. I made a rolled hem and I love how it looks paired with a Blues Bell Top!

The Kira Maxi Pattern from Sonia Estep Designs

I finally got around to making a Maxi Kira, which also comes in tank and dress lengths, this pattern is by Sonia Estep Designs. I loved the look of this fabric but only had a meter, so had to shorten the length a little but really like this length on me. My favourite style right now is racerbacks and side splits so this pattern was just calling out to me, and the sun came out just in time to show it off!

The Marley Dress from George & Ginger Patterns

This beautiful Marley Dress has a retro design with a modern feel, it comes as a full circle dress, tunic, mini and dress lengths also optional collar and sash. The pattern is fully lined with a button keyhole closure. I used this lovely flowy viscose with linen-mix for the lining.

The Cusco's Culottes From CKC Patterns

Look what landed, these amazing Cusco's Culottes from CKC Patterns!

I love that I don't have to do any adjustments as I can use the petite length and they fit my five foot height just perfectly. Super quick to make and very on trend. They work really well paired with the Kenya wrap top, without the wrap ties. I used this very flowy floral jersey fabric to create this look.

Vintage Made Magazine Feature - Issue 17

I got the best mail on my doorstep today!

The amazing Vintage Made Magazine featuring Ann's fabulous Designer Stitch exclusive pull-out pattern. I made two ponte collar dresses from this issue and had lots of fun taking pictures. So excited to finally be able to share this!

I used a scuba crepe and ponte to create these looks, I must say everyone in the magazine looks absolutely amazing!

The TikTok Leggings with Afterglow Leggings from Rad Patterns

I've been seeing these TikTok leggings all over the web, so I had to try make a pair for myself. I used this beautiful bubble knit, mixed the Rad Patterns leggings with the Sinclair Cleo v-waistband and added elastic in the bum seam for the ruched look. To make it a get outfit I used the bodice from the Picnic Dress from George & Ginger Patterns which worked really well.

The Cleo Shorts/Culottes from Sinclair Patterns

The Cleo Shorts/Culottes from Sinclair Patterns has just been released, with projector file. It comes in two lengths, side pockets with v-waistband and yoga-band with a pocket in the waistband. Perfect for knit fabrics, it went well with some fun fabric, ruffle and a camo knit. Love how they all turned out as I used the petite length for my five foot height and I didn't have to do any adjustment.
