The Natalie Knotted Tank By Ellie & Mac

With the warmer weather finally here, I thought it was the perfect time to share my latest make, the Natalie Knotted Tank Top. I made mine in this gorgeous ITY fabric from ABC Fabric, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The lightweight drape and soft feel of ITY make it an ideal choice for summer garments, keeping you comfortable while still looking stylish.

This was my first time sewing the Natalie Knotted Tank, and it definitely won't be my last! The pattern was enjoyable to sew and came together surprisingly quickly, making it a fantastic project for a weekend make. I chose the relaxed-fit version with the flattering V-neckline, which gives the top an effortless, casual look that's perfect for everyday wear.

One of the things I love most about this pattern is its versatility. As well as the relaxed-fit V-neck version, the pattern also includes a scooped neckline option and a fitted version, giving you plenty of opportunities to customise your wardrobe. Whether you prefer a more relaxed silhouette or something more figure-hugging, there's an option to suit your style.

The knotted front detail adds a lovely design feature that elevates a simple tank top into something a little more special. It's the kind of top that works equally well paired with jeans, shorts, skirts, or layered under a cardigan when the evenings get cooler.

The Paige Palazzo & Wide Leg Pants Pattern By Ellie & Mac

Today I'm here to share the beautiful new Paige Palazzo & Wide leg pants. Perfect for flowy woven fabrics, I used a stripe georgette from ABC Fabric. I made the wide leg but if you want wider then go for the palazzo style, 2 waistband heights which you can add elastic or do shirring. You also get 2 pockets options Regular and Deep Pockets. I wanted to make I'm as a set to I paired my Paige pants with the Zara square neck top also a Ellie and Mac pattern. What style will you go for first?

The Primrose Dress By Gingerrellina London

I had the opportunity to test the amazing new Primrose Dress by Gingerrellina London who I discovered on Instagram and now I’m obsessed! The Primrose comes in four lengths: mini, midi, maxi, and top lengths, from which I chose the top and feel it really suits me.

It can be styled with natural waist pleats or drop waist pleats. I added natural waist pleats for that timeless, structured look. The pleat detail all around the waist is lovely, it really does create an amazing shape. To finish add bias-binding to the arm and neck and lastly, if your thinking how do you get it on - well there is an invisible zip in the back! I made my version using this gorgeous lightweight cotton from @abcfabricuk, and I love how it turned out.

The Orchid Dress By Boo and Lu Patterns

The Suzie Square-Neck Tie-Back Top & Dress By Ellie & Mac Patterns

Meet the new Suzie back tie top and dress from Ellie and mac patterns. It's super cute, comes in a empire or regular waist, you have the option of a top or dress which comes in 2 lengths mid thigh and above the knee. Lot's of different sleeve options from sleeveless to a short puff sleeve.

I made the empire waist top with puff sleeves in this beautiful jacquard knit with a lime green mesh lining. I also made the mid thigh sleeveless dress with pockets and went for the regular waistline and used a cream textured knit all fabrics are from ABC Fabric. I love the tie back style it's so on trend right now.

The Kora Dress by Designer Stitch

Here's my new Kora dress from Designer Stitch, it has an amazing shape to this dress. Kora comes in two lengths, beautiful contoured waistband. I love the v neck with front buttons for opening, but as you also have an invisible side seam zip you don't really need to use the buttons.

I made the short sleeve with ties that ruch the sleeve, but you can also made long sleeves with an elastic cufflet. I used this beautiful polyviscose as you need a nice drape in your fabric for this pattern. It's the perfect dress for a lunch date or even a night out.

The Harper Jacket by Ellie and Mac

Introducing the Harper everyday jacket from Ellie and mac patterns. Harper comes in 2 lengths crop and high hip, 2 neckline and optional back seam for adjustments to fit your body, and patch pockets. Perfect jacket to overlay a top or jumper and still have they stylish look.

I made the crop length with scoop neckline in this boucle, which was another coat but didn't wear it so I unpicked it all and made Harper and love it, it such an on tread style and can be dressed up for a night out depending on your fabric.

This relaxed two-piece set is such a dream to wear and sew. It features an oversized raglan top paired with easy, loose fit lounge shorts, basically the ultimate comfy outfit for relaxing at home while still looking cute.

The pattern comes with lots of great options, including a choice of crop or full top lengths, elbow, 3/4, or long sleeves, and optional sleeve pleat details. The shorts are high-rise with an elastic waistband and optional drawstring, plus slant pockets and two inseam lengths so you can customise the fit.

For mine, I made the crop length with elbow sleeves with the pleats using the dreamiest soft terry velour from ABC Fabric. It’s seriously so cozy! I used a viscose jersey for the neckband to give it a little extra stretch, which worked perfectly.

Honestly it’s so comfy I might need to make a few more sets so I can wear one everyday 😂

Rumi Raglan Sweatshirt By Made For Mermaids

OMG, I'm in love with my new Rumi Raglan Sweatshirt in these beautiful Terry Velour fabrics from ABC Fabric. This time I made the crop length with cowl neck which I lined and went for the drawstring option for the waist but only did it as one side. It's great that it comes with different options as I also went for the colour block back. Super comfy, now I need some bottoms/shorts to make a cute set.

The Pebble & Banyan Bundle By Boo and Lu Patterns

 

Boo and Lu patterns have just released two new pattern which work so well together. Meet Banyan bralette, midi top and dress length, and meet Pebble flare pants. Banyan comes with the option of a built in shelf bra or lining it's the perfect exercising/ everyday wear. Pebble are super comfy and easy to make, you make make the fold over waistband like I did or a normal waistband. I love the flared leg silhouette. I used this striped ribbed jersey from ABC Fabric and some mesh for a bit of colour blocking and took my time with a bit of pattern matching. They might even become my secret pjs.

Rumi Oversized Raglan Sweatshirt by Made For Mermaids

 

Let me show you this fun new pattern from Made for mermaids, meet Rumi an oversize knit raglan sweatshirt. Rumi comes with different back options from solid, colour block, or lace-up but only for the crop length. Two different lengths from crop to sweatshirt length. We have a Crossover hood or cowl option and for the sleeves you have tank, standard long sleeve with cuff, or balloon long sleeve with elastic. I made the crop length with tie up back and balloon sleeves in this soft grey loopback from ABC Fabric. It was really easy to sew and feels soft to the body. For a top like this you don't need much stretch to your fabric as it's an oversized style.
