The Below Zero Top from George and Ginger

The Below Zero Top, a cozy off-shoulder dolman-style sweater sewing pattern designed by George And Ginger Patterns, caught my attention. Its versatility allows for mixing fabrics or achieving a timeless, classic look. The recommended fabric for this pattern is a sweater knit with 50% stretch.

Recently, I embarked on my first Below Zero Top project, and I fell in love with the off-shoulder style. For this creation, I chose a delightful stripe scuba fabric from ABC Fabric—it was an absolute joy to sew with! I’m already planning to add more Below Zero tops to my wardrobe. πŸ§΅πŸ‘š

Purple Ribbed Swan Sweater from Boo and Lu

I created the Swan Cardi from Boo and Lu Patterns. The cardi features a crop length, a straightforward bodice, and short sleeves. Secured at the back with ties, now that the weather is warming up it's absolutely perfect. For this project, I chose a delightful purple ribbed jersey from ABC Fabric. Sewing it was a joy, and I even have some leftover fabric, which I'm contemplating using for a pair of summer shorts. 🌸🧡

The Swan Wrap Sweater Outfit by Boo and Lu

Just finished sewing up this fabulous outfit from Boo and Lu patterns! I made the Adult Swan Wrap Sweater in a zesty lime ribbed double knit jersey from ABC Fabric, which is perfect for layering. It’s such a versatile piece with its ballet-inspired wrap style and options for both a classic and asymmetrical bodice. The four sleeve lengths make it a pattern for all seasons.

Underneath, I paired it with the Liana Top/Dress, a sporty number with a charming racerback finished with loops or a braid detail. It’s a slim-fitting design that complements the wrap sweater beautifully.

Together, they create a look that’s both stylish and comfortable. Highly recommend these patterns for anyone looking to add some unique pieces to their wardrobe! 🌟

They come in shorts or pants lengths, with different options like cuffed hem, ruched ankle details, lots of pocket options. You can add buttons or snaps on the side closure or go simple like I did. You can add loops or grommets for your tie straps.

I went for a denim pair and got this denim from ABC Fabric which was just perfect for these. I've added the front bib pocket and back pockets with the ruched ankle.
