Magical Princess Costume Hack from Ellie and Mac

Check out the new Magical Princess Costume blog over at Ellie and Mac, which has lots of easy new hacks to create the princess look with their patterns. I made this fairy tale costume using the 'Dashing Dress' pattern. I added some length to the collar and lined with interface to help it stand. Then I widened the sleeves to add some pleats and the armband.

I love how easy it was to create this princess costume, I also added my own petticoat for the extra fullness and a perfect shape! I used a medium weight jersey for the top and yellow ponti for the skirt.

Goth + Grunge Collection from George + Ginger

OMG it's finally here, I've been waiting to show off this new Goth Collection from George & Ginger. There are so many patterns to this collection and they all work amazingly together. This was a little something different for me the style and working with this type of fabric. The patterns are pretty simply but added accessories makes the look even more. I have to thank the lovely Hazel for lending me some accessories to make theses pictures even better!

Traveler Top Pattern from Ellie and Mac

There is a reason why I love Ellie and Mac patterns, they are always updating their pattern to get an even better fit for everyone and have also extended their sizes. I've made the Traveler Top pattern which now you have 2 lengths for the front, loads of different options like cowl neck, oversized hood, 2 different sleeves lengths so if you like long sleeves this is the perfect pattern. Oh and not to forget you have inseam pockets and a kangaroo front pocket.
