Will Wrap For Wine & Santa's Coming Cut Files from Ellie and Mac

Christmas is coming!

Have you seen the new cut files designs from Ellie and Mac that have just released! This one is defo me if my glass is empty I'm not doing anything. 'Will Wrap For Wine' is the perfect cut file I will be wearing when it comes to wrapping. I also made an Oversized Tee for my 'OMG Santa Is Coming' and added my heat transfer vinyl cut file to it, there is a video on the website showing how it works.

The Katy Dress from Made For Mermaids

This dark petrol cable knit was amazing to work with and was perfect for my new Katy side knot dress from Kids Print Fabrics. Katy has just released from Made For Mermaids, it comes with different lengths, sleeves and neckbands, I made the mini with short sleeves and mock turtleneck.

The Dicky Collars by Designer Stitch Patterns

Happy Saturday my sewing friends!

Have you seen the Dickey Collars by Designer Stitch? These collars are the perfect layering accessory under your jumpers/sweaters, jackets, dresses and even your favorite tee. They provide the illusion of wearing tailored shirts without the added layers and bulk also prevent you from getting too hot. I used this lovely dotted black chiffon to create this look.

The Marley Dolman Top from Sinclair Patterns

Happy Saturday my sewing friends! Have you ever wondered about mixing fabrics together, well let me tell you these amazing burgundy rib and olive baby knit from Kids Print Fabrics were perfect for my new Marley dolman top which has just released from Sinclair patterns. Comes with different lengths, I did the tunic length with pockets and with the regular neckband. Love how it turned out

The Dashing Dress Pattern from Ellie and Mac

It's finally Friday and the sun has come out a bit so time to show off my new dress! I got one meter of this amazing Bee fabric from Designed in Prayer and really wanted to show the design off! I used the Dashing Dress with circle skirt mixed with the Cuddle Tunic and bishop sleeves in a mustard ponte. I love mixing EAM patterns together.

The Modern Moto Jacket & Classic Camisole Top by Ellie and Mac

We are nearly at the weekend which means more sewing! Today I had so many complements on my outfit, which is the best feeling when you have make it yourself. I was rocking my Classic Camisole Top in this leopard print cotton from Kids Print Fabrics and my blazer which I used the Modern Moto jacket pattern for but instead of adding a zip I put the two pattern pieces together to make one pattern piece and added a little tad at the back with buttons.

The Liz Bralette from Sew Your Happy

So it's finally finished my new undies set and love how it's turned out I had 1/2m of this beautiful Jersey from Kids Print Fabrics and knew I needed a new undies set! I went for the Liz bralette from Sew Your Happy which is super comfy and paired it with the Panel undies from Rad Patterns I went for the ruched bum this time. Both super simple to make and will be making many more set.

The South Shore Romper & Staycation Dress Mix from Ellie and Mac

I just love mixing patterns together and trying something different! I got this amazing fabric by Stitch Fabrics, one meter of shoe print cotton from the knitting show last week. I wanted to make a dress with it but was unsure about using cotton but when I added tiers from the Staycation Dress mixing with the bodice from South Shore romper and the bishop sleeves from the Cuddle tunic it turned out great.

The Oversized Tee Pattern Hack from Ellie and Mac

Winter is coming and I needed something comfy and warm! I used this amazing chunky knit from Kids Print Fabrics. I went for the Oversized Tee but added a few extra inches to make it into a jumper dress, I also widened the sleeves to look more like bishop sleeves. Then I adding a cowl neck using the Going Home Sweater pattern. I took the sides in a bit more to sit around my neck and I love how it turned out.

My little friend wanted a photo too!

The Summer/Winter Classic Camisole Top/Dress from Ellie and Mac

It's finally here the amazing new Classic Camisole top and dress from Ellie and Mac. As summer winds down and winter creeps in I wanted a summer/winter look. Adding puff sleeves, and turtleneck give me me the style I was after..

There is loads of options to this pattern from v-back to a straight-back with elastic. This is a woven pattern and my advice would be to make a fit in old fabric first as you may need to make some adjustments to get the best fit to your body! Oh and did I say it comes with pockets? I used a this flowy cotton fabric to create this look.

The Duchess Jacket Pattern & Hack by Ellie and Mac

Just made this super cool Duchess Jacket is up, follow the hack on Ellie and Mac's blog on how to make it without the skirt. The instructions were so easy to follow and I love how my jacket turned out. I used a peachy pink wool with a cream satin lining.

The Kiran Dress Pattern from Designer Stitch

The amazing Kiran dress is here from Designer Stitch!

The Kiran Dress or Tunic will be your go-to wardrobe staple and is easy to wear for whatever season you are in. I loved this pattern so much I made a few, Kiran is a woven pattern with a zip in the back and comes in different lengths. I used a mix of fabrics from wool, to denim and cotton. It has a cool front panel and binding is a option to add which I found really made the dresses shape stand out.

The Knitting & Stitching Show 2021

I had a great time at the Knitting & Stitching Show, meeting up with my lovely sewing friends! I got my hands on some lovely fabrics and some other bits. I wore my new Crossover dress from Ellie and Mac which I added a ruffle to the bottom of the skirt, love how it turned out in theses amazing knits from Kids Print Fabrics It was a dream to sew with.
