I made the shortest length dress with flounce at the neckline and dress. I have this lovely lace with an scalloped edge which I wanted to use, so I cut the scalloped hem off first cut my pattern out and sewed it back on. I lined my dress with an mauve ITY both from ABC Fabric. I'm now ready to party!

The Belle Holiday Skirt from Made For Mermaids

I'm not one that likes to blend in a crowd, I'm the one that likes to stand out! So when I got this neon plisse from ABC Fabric and it was perfect for the Belle Holiday Skirt. I made the midi length and covered my waistband elastic in the same fabric to match. I'm in love with this skirt super quick to make!

The Uno Hoodie by Sinclair Patterns

We all need to stay warm in this cold weather and Sinclair Patterns have just released Uno hoodie! It comes with the option of an overlapped cowl or an overlapped hood, plus one layer side pockets or with zippered pockets. I made an overlapped cowl with one layer side pockets in this soft stretch loopback from ABC Fabric. I wanted the overlapped cowl to stand out so did it in a different colour. This is a different design that I've seen with the low neckline being able to show the cowl or hood off more. Pattern is on sale now!

Hack: The Premier Pencil Skirt by Ellie and Mac

The Amandine Top by Annie et ses coutures

I am slowly working my way through Annie et ses coutures patterns since they now have english instructions. Today I am wearing the lovely Amandine top made in a soft red rib knit from ABC Fabric. It was a quick make that can be dressed up or an everyday wear. I love that you can play with the large collar on it off the shoulder. Comes in A4, A0 or Projector file. As it says in the title this cardi comes with options it has a regular square hem, rounded or a flounce hem like mine in the picture. You can have a tie front or button, and short, elbow, 3/4 or long sleeves hemmed or cuffed sleeves. I used this cute golden melange jersey from ABC Fabric which has a lovely drape to it so perfect for the flounce. I went for a night out look without a top under, so can be dressed up or be an everyday wear.

It was my first time making the Romance Dress by Annie et ses coutures, a brilliant pattern for mixing-up stretch fabrics. With denuded shoulders, a fitted bodice, waistband and semi-flared skirt, its a pattern you can make anytime of the year.
