Today was a beautiful beach day and what better to wear is this cool red crinkle-check Quinn Cover-Up, perfect to throw on over a swimsuit. Nice and lightweight just what I need in this heat! Also found a little church the door was just the right height for me!

My Paisley Holly Robe from Holly Dennett

Today I went to Kos town, rocking my new Holly Robe in this beautiful ivory pink crepe. It's just perfect as a cover up when you have burnt your shoulder.

The Holly Robe is by Holly Dennett who I discovered on Instagram, she has just started out with her new pattern collection. This robe is all French-seamed which gives the perfect inside finish.

Animal Print Barbara Dress from Annie et ses Coutures

I would like to share and get some love for the new Barbara Dress from Annie Et Ses Coutures. This is a knit pattern, with gathered waistband at the sides, pointed front neckline with a flared skirt. Pattern comes in English & French.

It's a great summer dress, for a casual look or dressed up look. I used this tan snake print jersey with a cotton lycra waistband. It's a great way to mix your prints but also looks amazing in 1 print. Really comfy and not hard to make!

The Alani Set Sewing Pattern from Made for Mermaids

Have you seen the new release from Made For Mermaids the new Alani set. This is the perfect summer short and shirt outfit. Comes with 3 sleeve options, short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve, or a short sleeve with sleeve tab which I've made and the option of shorts, crop or full leg pants. I used this stripe crepe which is nice and light weight and flowy. It has elastic about the back waistband, comes with pockets which we all love.

The Hourglass Swimsuit from Ellie and Mac

Today is release day of the new Ashley Hourglass Swimsuit from Ellie & Mac. It comes with options of colour block sides, solid swim, ruched front, thin or wide straps. This suit has a lining and a shelf bra. You can add the straps or leave them off. The instruction also come with a video sewing it up so don't be scared. I paired my suit with the free spirit shawl and not so basic pants for the perfect beach look. Made in swim and fishnet fabrics.

The French Kiss Dress from Annie et ses Coutures

This is my first time making the French Kiss Dress from Annie et ses coutures - Le Groupe and I love it. It's a woven pattern with the options of print at home, A0 or projector files which I love and make sewing my own clothes so much more quicker. French kiss has a beautiful swan neckline which I've never made before and I will be making again! It has a button-up top, detachable belt and short sleeves. I used a crepe fabric from Mollys of Kensington Group which is perfect for the warmer weather. This pattern also comes in French and English languages.

Green Floral McCall's Misses' Wrap Dress

Today I've been worked on this McCalls dress, I don't do paper patterns much as usually they don't fit me right but I gave it another go. Still need to adjust the sides a little and had to remove a lot off for my height but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out in this beautiful green floral viscose I got last year and forgot I had it. This will make a nice evening dress for my holiday!

The Marit Shell Top & Paige Skirt Sewing Patterns by Designer Stitch

The Marit Shell Top is here in time for summer, a sewing pattern by Designer Stitch. Marit is a woven pattern with lots of options, round neck, scoop neck, you can make it as a single layer or double. Sleeveless, cap sleeves or my favorite ruffle cap sleeves. I used this beautiful crepe I got from Snapdragon Fabrics Community. I have paired Marit with my Paige skirt is also a Designer Stitch pattern, both make a great summer outfit.

The Vista Visor pattern from Sofiona Designs

I had a little break from sewing clothes and tried out this cool Vista Visor that has just released from Sofiona Designs. It's a great way to use up the small bits of fabric you have. Very stylish and great for summer. Comes with the option of elastic back or narrow/wide tie back.

This visor also includes an absorbent/terry cloth inner layer, ensuring maximum comfort during activities. It made for woven fabrics, if your like me I love a bag or hat to match my outfits.
